That's true. SCIM-SKK really needs to avoid static-linking (of
libiconv and more). Otherwise, even "scim-setup" doesn't show a
menu for SKK.

I wrote that SCIM-SKK didn't work if SCIM was linked to a static
library. That should have been wrong because you told SCIM-Anthy
works fine. Sorry for the wrong information.

So, what's the problem with staticlibs? IIRC, mlterm-2.9.2 didn't
support SCIM with static libscim-1.0.a. Yeah, this is just a
minor issue. So forget me.

I'm really looking forward to see SCIM and SCIM-Anthy commited!
I've used SCIM every day on my OBSD machine for about two months.
