I am setting it up ISP with them remotely and would love to hear what to expect on the day one - when I plug my router into their ethernet socket/switch/OTN. Do I need to ask them for anything in advance? ppoe credentials? .... I know - PDX is Verizon ISP teritory ... still maybe some expats would know.
Can't answer your questions. The cable from the FiOS box on the inside wall goes to my Ubiquity EdgeRouter-X. I doubt that's sufficient for an ISP but it does work with ZiplyFiber (ugly name but they bought Frontier Communications which bought Verizon, at least out here).
