I'm assembling a >300W UPS. I bought a Impinvt HT-12212
1.2kW Pure Sine Wave inverter, and tested it with a few
external 12.8V 8Ah LiFePO4 batteries in parallel, and a
100W light bulb load.

The Impinvt works OK so far, even though it is intended for
higher capacity batteries. Next, I plan to purchase a 100Ah
LiFePO4 battery, which should power my 330 watts of office
computers for about 3 hours. That will be fed from a line
switch and emergency generator someday, and 3 hours should
be enough time to debug a generator that "worked last year."

I looked at Amazon's offerings and user reviews; many foolish
buyers, many fraudulent sellers. I trust PLUG-folk more,
especially the subset that keep local data centers running.

So, who has stories of UPS battery victory and/or disaster
to share? I prefer experiences to opinion; I've already
created a surplus of contradictory opinions all by myself.

P.S.: yes, I have inline power monitors, P3 Kill-a-Watt
and others.
