Folks,
I am not sure if it is me or just that the mechanisim used to redirect a
browser on WiFi when being
Queried for a login or some sort of acceptance of usage.

I travel a lot, and find that you get to a airport, and try to log into the
wifi network, but the redirect
Mechanisim does not seem to repond. Or it may do so after many attempts to
try to get it's attention by trying to log into another web site and trying
to force the system to give you the goods.

It would seem that there should be some sort of mechanisim that would work
better than these redirects to the login server prior to obtaining the wifi
access.

I have tried to figure out how to force the browser to go to the redirect
page, but I find that they fiddle with those addresses to, so what you may
have saved for a paticular airport or other site, may not be the same the
next time you go through there.

Any ideas on how to speed this process up so that I can get the redirect
faster than setting there trying to get to a URL that I can not reach until
I go through the redirect steps.

I have several Android devices and all of them seem to have the same issue,
I have not carried a laptop with me in some time, but always seemed to see
the same thing. I have heard that a lot of these things still favour I.E.
though I hope that is no longer true.

Today I was in line to get on board the airplane, I had my phone in hand
with my eticket on it, somehow or another I lost the eticket and tried to
re-load it, well the stupid WiFi would not do the redirect and so I had to
grab the piece of paper that had my baggage tags on it and let them use
That. The delay was caused because I could not get the redirect to log into
the airport WiFi system, it finally came but I was on board the aircraft by
that time, and seated too.
