REVISION SUMMARY Redshift version 1.12 introduced the '-P' option to clear the existing gamma ramps before applying the new color temperature, which should be used with '-O' as suggested by the man page. Without the option, the gamma adjustments stacks, so the color temperature is not set properly, and becomes way off with subsequent adjustments.
