IconWidget is something we want to get rid of at some point anyway.

We've found working solutions, if you run into problems, feel free to ping me.

Quite easy to do with the MouseArea.

That's as easy as:
onPressed: PlasmaExtras.PressedAnimation {}
onReleased: PlasmaExtras.ReleaseAnimation {}
