No, but if that came across it could explain the lack of responses :) I was asking whether someone with experience in Plasma UI development would be available for doing the UI parts. As in opposed to also having to do the low level data access, this is what I would be doing. If you check my original call for help I mentioned that one option could be a Plasmoid similar to the device notifier.
