Maybe just grab one developer and approach him/her directly. Well, good advice, but unfortunaly I don't know any Plasma developers other than the usual suspects and those are all very busy. My intention therefore was to poke the general Plasma community to see if anyone could be looking for an opportunity to work on something that would very likely become a standard component on some (or maybe even most) Plasma workspaces.
