I've done something like this in my applet, Fancy Tasks and people like this feature (it was suggested by one of the users). And this means less code, as far as I know it's already possible to trigger showing of tool tip "manually". This topic was already discussed and Aaron "designed" how it should work form code side (signals for mouse events and actions in applets). > As to the code.
