we shouldn't lock out others on purpose, but i'm just fine with the idea of special kwin+plasma interaction if that's the only way to create the best user experience possible. if the compiz people decide to not support something, that is completely their right to do so, but it shouldn't hold KDE back. kwin is my #1 integration target, everything else is secondary. -- Aaron J.
