The only thing I see, specially considering that specific purpose, is when
we have, for instance, Quick Launcher applet or alike, that fits Application
Launchers but not Menus (which, btw, I'd suggest System Menus - 'cause
they're not only menus for launching applications but for other stuff across
the system). Those menu applets, imho, fit both Application Launchers and
System Menus, being that last one, my suggestion for a detection like the
proposed.
