Package: evolution-exchange
Version: 2.6.2-3
I just downloaded this package to connect to my company's Exchange mail
server. However, I cannot complete the initial dialogue sequence to setup
my e-mail account.
I type in my corporate e-mail address, go to the next screen, select
"Microsoft Exchange", type in the correct username and OWA URL,
successfully lick on "Authenticate", but then I cannot move onto
another page; the "Foreward" button stays grayed out.
I have successfully logged in and use the OWA URL before.
I believe it successfully "Authenticate"s me, since it creates the file
'~/.gnome2_private/Evolution' which contains:
[Passwords-Exchange]
exchange:__willo@(null)_=M**********=
(where the '*' were the actual UUencoded version of my password.)
I'm somewhat concerned with the "(null)" in this file, but perhaps that
is normal..
Anyway, I'm at a loss for what my problem could be, seeing how I had no
Evolution packages on my system before trying this, and the only GNOME-ish
packages I've installed are 'gdm' and 'gaim'. I feel this is a bug of some
type.
Another oddity is that there are no other options in the dialogue window,
when webpages I've seen refer to a setting to specify the type of
encryption to use for passwords, and if it should cache my password.
