Okay, thanks for pointing me to those variables. Is there a list of global variables somewhere? I'm only using the online documentation and it's arranged a little awkward.
After playing with $_POST, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, but I just realized that the names are case sensitive, so $_POST['username'] and $_POST['Username'] are completely different.
