I have other php scripts that were running fine. Only the one with COM was blowing up. <event_log> Application popup: Apache.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x10030727" referenced memory at "0x04243b30". The memory could not be "read". </event_log> The latest stable release solved my issue.
