Bug description:  Issues with OpenSSL v.0.9.7

After configuring PHP.4.3.0 with the newest version of OpenSSL.0.9.7 Apache
2.0.44 will fail to start due to a undefined variable in libphp4.so.

This is reproducable on 3 different machines.

switch used for configure: 
./configure --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl/ {...}
/usr/local/ssl is where openssl.0.9.7 is installed
