This bug has been fixed in CVS. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-03-29 03:57:57] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'll fix it tonight. Assigning to myself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-03-28 17:26:44] [EMAIL PROTECTED] When installing PHP 4.0.6 on Win2000 and IIS 5, I ran into a snag that kept a coworker and me occupied for about 6 hours. It's not really a bug, but there's another step that needs to be added to the installation instructions. After moving php.ini to its correct folder, one must set the permissions to be readable by Everyone. Otherwise, IIS will not be able to read it and PHP will use the default options. This caused an especially large problem in Win2k, since the default folders are all unix-style. Most of our code worked, but features such as sessions choked. Please add the permission change to the installation instructions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=16336&edit=1
