A while back I was hired to do some photos for a band. I had gotten some photos for a previous incarnation when a friend played with them, and they needed photos (and video) of the new lineup. I went to one of their weekly practices, shot a few photos as practice, then a couple of weeks later photographed them at a gig.
I crunched through the photos, sorting them by musician etc. I posted “proof albums” for them to select which ones they wanted, and waited to hear back from them. Several weeks later, I was about to start my new job, I had only heard from one of them, I mentioned that I was about to be very busy, and could they please tell me which ones they want me to clean up for them to use, because my turnaround times were about to get a lot longer. It turns out that this version of the band broke up (fortunately they had already paid me) and they were going to go back to their original lineup. However, I did hear from one of the other members (the one who had originally hired me), so I processed the ones they picked. Some of them I did a few different versions, darkening the background and/or cropping to highlight the musician in particular. In other words, playing around with the fancy new lightroom adjustment tools. https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/albums/72177720297676698 -- Larry Colen [email protected]. sent from ret4est -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
