Thanks, Bob. Ostrich farming has spread to the whole country now. It
used to be confined to the Karoo. BTW, there are even some Rheas on game
farms around here. Kruger is so expensive for overnight stays now, we
only do day trips. 300km in a day is about the limit. July to October
when the bush has dried out & the grass eaten is best.

some in a farmers field over here once when I was cycling in Dorset.
