I've done some adequate work with an early S-1a[0] and later a K-1000, both of which require that I participate fully in making the shots. I can even perpetrate fun with the Holga or the Diana. My K-10d works well enough, but unless I'm snapshotting with it, I go mostly manual with exposure and focus. I do regret not having acquired the Auto-110 which was for a time available; I'd seen just how good decent optics could render on such a small format.
