In practice, with the K-1 I hardly ever go above 6400. When I do, I am 
surprised by how well the images come out. 12800 and even higher can be ok as 
well. Handholding, inside a dark cathedral or wildlife outdoors at dusk or an 
alleyway in a mountain village…it is very liberating to be able to shoot and 
expect that the outcome will be decent.
