I could do that, but Blurb doesn't give you the option of assigning a different ISBN to hardcover and softcover versions of the same book, which is technically how things are supposed to be done. So as far Blurb is concerned, I have to treat the hardcover and softcover as two different books rather than two different options for the same book. (Technically, I should use yet a third different ISBN for the Image Wrap hardcover, but there's only so much of my own money I'm willing to throw at this...) What really pisses me off, though, is that Blurb won't let the buyer select the paper options for a book when they purchase it. Blurb has a couple of options for higher quality (but more expensive) paper.
