Asahi Man on dpreview said (in a thread discussing how the price was rising on the A* 200mm macro) said the following: "90% next year we will get.... Minimum 5 primes..."
I believe he is saying "90% chance". I'm assuming that these would be FF compatible lenses. That he reports this in a thread about the venerable A* 200mm macro is interesting, to say the least. Also interesting is that there are no primes on the last Lens Road Map (that I've seen) which was Feb. 2015. I think it is quite possible that three of them will be HD coated Three Amigos (31, 43, and 77mm Limiteds). I think it is possible that Pentax, now shipping a full frame, and probably with pixel-shift tech, will also bring back a shift lens. If the Pentax FF is going to be shipping in time for the holidays, I think they are going to need to make an official announcement by August 1st. -- Life is too short to put up with bad bokeh. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
