I used to love watching Minis at the production races at Mosport, Ontario before the F1 and CanAm races in the 70s.
Huge crowds would gather at Moss Corner (the hairpin) and the higher the inside rear tire got the louder we'd cheer. If the inside front lifted it became an uproar. Once one rolled over and the crowd went berserk. The racer was right into it though: jumped out of his crumpled machine waving both hands over his head at the delirious crowd. Jolly good fun.
