All good things will come to those who are patient. This digital stuff is in its infant. Wait until it grows up before making any decisions. Try Windows XP on a 10 year old computer! That is where I feel that Digital is now. I have told myself that I would wait (if I live that long) for something around the 16 - 32 Mp range. Digital is for is for instant gratification and those who deed it and not a replacement for good 35mm stuff. It will come 64Mp and higher will challenge medium format and larger formats, but art will prevail. The child is still growing and just learning to talk. If you are serious about your photography, spend some more time in the darkroom - that is where the magic is ( at least for now).
