IMO a good lens adapter shouldn't present any real problems with image
quality. All you should be adding is air. Yes, I realize that at say
F2 you might see sharpness issues at infinity when things aren't
perfectly aligned but honestly, who needs perfect corner to corner
sharpness or expects that at f2? The whole article about adapters
being passed around is wholly unscientific IMO. People that obsessive
tend to shim their adapters into perfect alignment, which isn't all
that hard to do with a lot of patience. Agreed that RF lenses will be
the real problem and a lot of people are going to be looking at the A7
with adapted leica glass in mind.
