On 16/10/13, Godfrey DiGiorgi, discombobulated, unleashed: >An electronic view finder is very much a "real" viewfinder, Darren. Ask >Cotty ... It's been the viewfinder used in video cameras for a couple of >decades.
True! Bob and I were talking about EVFs last night. He looked through my X-E1 and decided almost immediately that it wasn't for him. After a few weeks now, I'm used to it enough that it doesn't bother me. I look on it (quite literally) as an aid to framing and focussing. The very nice thing about it, is that WYSIWYG - very much like a DSLR. That said, I would in fact take an optical viewfinder over an EVF any day of the week. Except may Tuesdays. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ Broadcast, Corporate, || (O) | Web Video Production ---------- <www.seeingeye.tv> _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
