To make a long story short. The USPS finally did the right thing and forwarded the package to my local Post Office, and put a delivery notice in my P.O. Box. I had contacted Adorama to find out how to a. end this round robin and b. keep it from happening in the future. Adorama didn't give me an answer, but they did refund the shipping charges, so there's that. I'm fairly happy with the results, (it was pretty funny in a way, they shipped my item in a box big enough to hold several hundred of them), except, I still have no idea which address to give them when I order again...

Checking into I find that UPS has contracted with the USPS to deliver
packages!!! Now I don't have a mail receptacle at my house, I have a
post office box. UPS doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. The US mail won't
deliver to my house, no receptacle. I think I'll scream.
