Now that I think of it, judging by some of the prices, if I had money and was a 
gambling man they might be worth taking a chance on, especially since you could 
inspect them before purchase.

definitely something i figured into the value proposition; a lot looked 
completely unused, as if it had been returned w/o opening it; they graded items 
based on whether anything was missing

i would be much more cautious about buying an SDM lens without warranty, for 
instance, but i am used to risks with used purchases and was able to use the 
lenses before purchase (not extensively)

also tried out focus peaking on the K-01, pretty cool, and hefted several 
lenses to confirm my impression that they were too heavy for my comfort
