Good resource you found there. Do not underestimate the importance of
good clothing.

The paragraph on exposure is a bit dated, though. I stand by what I
said regarding Pentax DSLRs and exposure in snow. With raw files and
Pentax' conservative approach to exposure, you generally don't have to
compensate as much as he suggests in the text as long as you're
prepared to tweak the file a bit on the computer.

If you're very conscious about these things, try bracketing +/- 1 -
1.5 stops and consult the histograms to decide what gives you the best
file to work with. You know, no clipping on the ends and hopefully a
nice heap on the middle... :-)
