If you were a real Trekkie (and watched the dvds) you would have seen an interview with Jeri Ryan about her various costumes.
It was so tight she couldn't bend over, and had to stand very erect. She got used to it, but obviously it was a a pain, an actual physical pain. She's all natural, and does have a tiny waist, but the gray costume especially, had a corset in it. I think most did, to make them fit tight. There was no paint. I hated her, personally.
