Sorry to hear. The guy apparently has serious problems. Hope you feel better 
soon.

I learned not to confront truck drivers when I worked in New York. It must have 
been more than 25 years ago. I had been injured in a fall a few days prior and 
I could barely move my right arm. I was waiting to cross 7th Avenue in midtown, 
when a delivery van almost ran me down. As it sped by, I  smacked the side of 
the van with my umbrella, which was in my left hand. The driver, a very large 
fellow who looked like a heavy from the Sopranos, stopped, got out and ran 
toward me. I flailed away with my bumbershoot to no avail. He punched me in the 
jaw and floored me, cracking a tooth and leaving me with a blue and swollen 
face. 

Truck drivers tend to be a breed apart.
