<<FinePix S2 Pro digital camera with 12-megapixel resolution developed (picture)
Fuji Photo Film Co. announced on January 30 the development of a professional digital camera to feature the highest resolution of 12 megapixels, and SLR finder. Marketing date nor price were announced as yet. The sensor is a large-size (23mm x 15.5mm) Super CCD Honeycomb with 6.17 megapixels. Maximum resolution is improved to 4256 x 2848 pixels (12.12 megapixels. Sensitivity is ISO 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 (equivalent). The camera uses Nikon F mount and Nikkor AF lenses. The finder is SLR type . the monitor is 1.8-inch LCD. Light metering, autofocusing, exposure controls are virtually the same to a high grade 35mm AF SLR.
