My old desktop PC died, where I had photoshop, scanning software, etc. It was hardly able to keep up with photoshop, and it had a hard time with the new fangled USB 2.0 card reader that I used to read my 8Gb SDHC cards, the previous generation reader was ok, but could not read the SDHC cards.
So my question is: are the newer laptops (mid-range) able to handle photoshop ok? I'm leaning towards laptop, as the portability makes it way more convenient than a desktop. But I fear that they do not have the horsepower of desktops and I will have a difficult time using photoshop. Any experiences or opinions?
