I think the magazines are left there by patrons when they're done. The magazine on the left is Dandyhorse, a Toronto bike mag. I have a photo published in that very issue - a couple of weeks ago I was sitting next to a couple looking at it, watching them reading the article with my photo on the page. Very weird feeling (I didn't say anything like, "hey, that's my photo!" - maybe I should have?). I wasn't going to post it because it's blurry even by my standards (or to put it another way, there's not enough interest to overcome the blur and make it interesting) but here's a shot of Manic's main counter: http://knarfinthecity.blogspot.com/2010/01/manic_22.html Perhaps not as shi-shi as the magazine rack? ;-) cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
