Great shots of a neat machine.
Love the look achieved with the car but that front ground
clearance.........
Thanks Ken. The car is equipped with a hydraulic system that raises
and lowers the front end. We lowered it all the way for the pics.

Subject: PESOs: Desoto
Of the 14 cars I shot at the Mopar Nats this past summer this '55
Desoto Fireflite was my favorite. I don't like the open windows,
but the magazine editor wants hardtops shot with the windows down,
so... The engine is a 528 cubic inch all-aluminum hemi from the
Indy Cylinder Head company of Indianapolis. I believe it dynos at
about 800 horsepower. The drivetrain and suspension are equally
stout. The front end can be raised via hydraulics for more ground
clearance when necessary. The interior is white leather. No door
handles. Doors open via a radio control device. A decent machine.

Both shots with the K7. The car was shot with the 60-250, f5.6,
1/800th, 250mm. The engine was shot with the 16-50, f8 @ !/125th
with flash and lightsphere.
