The Wratten #87 is an extremely strong IR filter, totally opaque to the human eye. It is way beyond the sensitization of the usual near-infrared films (Konica IR795, Ilford SFX200). Apparently, the DS' IR sensitivity extends to much longer wavelengths (820+ nm). Enjoy, Ralf -- Ralf R.
