Well, that puts an end to all of the toy breeds, as they were all bred as

I would agree to that.

Sorry, I've never been a man of my word when it involves shutting up...

MARK!

There are numerous studies that show that elderly people who keep dogs

or cats...

tend to live longer and are able to stay in their own homes caring for themselves longer if they have a dog around the house. Apparently, having something around that needs your care and returns your love keeps you motivated to continue caring for yourself.

Which is why i now have , and have had for 2 1/2 years, a cat. :-)

There are many incidents of therapy dogs that have made some pretty incredible breakthroughs with people who have been brain damaged, either through injury or disease. It seems that sometimes dogs can do what the best psychologists are unable to do. Most of these dogs are the toy breeds, simply because they are smaller and easier to manage.

Food for thought....

Without getting too much in it again, Frank and I agree though you make a good point about therapy dogs and I know you from personal experience as a good dog master... but part of my point was not just the silliness of the green dye but that I certainly know that just because something is called "food coloring" it doesn't make it safe...
for dogs, cat or humans.
