If you want an out of left field suggestion, the Tamron SP 90/2.5 is very good, reasonably common and not too expensive and the Adaptall-2 adaptor isn't too pricey if you only need regular K mount rather than KA. I'm very fond of mine, it's the short tele that goes in the bag when I don't need a specific attribute of one of my other lenses in that range. -- M.
