I thought Route 1 on the California coast was slowly but surely cutting into the ranks of Bikers. When I lived in Jenner, hardly a weekend went by without someone or two getting killed or at least trashing their bike.

From my experience, living in the Santa Cruz mountains, any car driven
by a tourist. Said cars are also apparantly incapable of using
pullouts either.

Oddly enough, Harleys also seem to come from the factory with limiter
that prevent them from achieving the speed limit on any road with more
than two turns every mile. They also seem to be equipped with rear
view mirrors that make it impossible for the rider to see that line of
cars stacked up behind them.

Those are Silicon Valley weekend Bikers. They still have their training wheels on.
