Its only downside is that it only works with 8-bit color, so I usually get the tonal range of the image in the ballpark in color and 16-bit mode before doing a conversion. Often I'll make several duplicate layers of the original image in color and apply a different BW-Plus filter to each layer. Then I can compare the result quickly by turning off all layers above the one I want to see.

With this conversion I couldn't decide between the Green filter and the Yellow, so I used both, with the Green on top and set to about 60% opacity (I think):

Good conversion for the main subject, but you've lost the waitress on the right in mud, as well as several other details that make the eye wander about the original picking up clues that warm the familiar memories.
