I thought this rich and lush. I thought the story wonderful & the
photography lovely--most especially the pictures taken inside the barn or
shed. Thanks for posting. I was very much moved by the photo essay.

I have a little pipe dream, which will always remain just that, of having a
small place in Dorset with a bit of a cider-apple orchard. I love
orchards,
and harvest time.
This wonderful photo / audio essay from Devon reminds me of a time when I
was walking in a valley in Northern Romania, near the Ukrainian border,
and
found myself in an apple orchard where the farmer and his family were
knocking apples out of the trees. I stopped to exchange mutually
incomprehensible chat, took a few photos, and the farmer's wife sent me
off
with a rucksack full of beautiful, freshly picked apples which I had for
lunch sitting on a wall around another orchard, with some local bread,
cheese and pastrami.
