I have a little pipe dream, which will always remain just that, of having a small place in Dorset with a bit of a cider-apple orchard. I love orchards, and harvest time.
This wonderful photo / audio essay from Devon reminds me of a time when I was walking in a valley in Northern Romania, near the Ukrainian border, and found myself in an apple orchard where the farmer and his family were knocking apples out of the trees.
