I found another camera store here that carries the Lightsphere line. They had a Whale Tail but I wasn't impressed. I did but another LS, the clear one. When I got home I put a piece of aluminum foil on the back half to reflect the light forward. It makes a tremendous difference in the amount of light output. I can shoot across a big room at f/8 at iso 200 and get good exposures. I also noted that even with a vertical composition and the flash off to the side the light is still nice and no obvious shadow coming from the background.
