Gee, those are terrible! I must say that the photo lab staff at the store I used are very knowledgable and know the technology. They showed me the equipment and the scanner alone was 60,000.00. It is attached to one of the Noritsu machines so it can make prints if ordered or it just spits out the cd's. They monitor each scan and tweak as necessary. I suspect you are up against some newby's that don't understand fully what they are doing.
