If they're not selling the brand along with the plant who'd buy it? Those who think Kodak will be able to devote more resources to their print and digital business are wrong since the revenue stream will be gone as will the physical assets. For only 1/2 a years revenue minus whatever write downs that come with the sale. A one time infusion of capitol won't solve Kodak's other problems. Kodak should be planning for a future for film with lower demand, (and lower supply to keep prices high enough for a quality product).
