Initially, he never said that it should be considered. He basically trashed it based on personal bias. Shortly thereafter there was a little disclaimer at the top about the "fan mail" he received concerning his "review". It was later changed to what you linked to in the archive. And finally, it was changed to what it is now. That page has either shown a change of heart or, more likely (whoop-de-do), a bad case of CYA.
