I think the only shot I'm missing to make this a  really good essay is
the inevitable pile-up of bodies at the bottom of the  hill.  I've got
a few possibilities from what I shot, but I'd have to do  considerable
work to make them viewable, and the ones I did work on just  didn't
make the cut.  We'll just have to be happy with these ones for  now.
;-)

As always, my ongoing frustration with shots looking much  better (more
dark detail) in PS on my laptop than I see on my monitor at  work.
Still, hopefully you get the gist of all this.

It occurs to me  that doing this on film would have been a costly and
onerous endeavour (shot  upwards of 80 or 100 shots that day all told,
between sledding and "winter  wonderland" stuff).
