Hey troops. The last two years, our fledgling radio station has put on a fund raiser music night, with local folky/blues talent.
Some really good musicians up here. Any way, last year i wanted to shoot more natural light, as apposed to flash, and that was 1 reason i ordered the 77 lt, but iot came in to late. I used my A 50 f1.7 but for some reason back focused all the shots. I went with what my eye told me was focused, not the beep and AF confirmation light. My bad there. The lighting effect was good, but no shots were usable. Just the flash stuff was usable. We are planning another in Feb and i have been asked to shoot it again. I now have the 77 and would like one more AF fast prime, either a 35 or 50. I know there are a lot to choose from, but any personal favorites from doing this kind of work. The FA 50 1.7 seems to draw a lot of yea's. The 50-135 f 2.8 might work here aswell, but i'd rather not spend $1000 just now.
