Thanks. Yes, the ones from up on the bridge were really too far away to do anything fancy. Down on the ground with the FujiFilm F30 (and 2-second hand-held exposures!) I was able to play with the angles a little bit more. Maybe later with a tripod I can get more creative. Looking straight down from the bridge, (pretty much in the shadows under the bridge), you can see them piecing together trusses and it's like a schematic diagram for a bridge with all the pieces lined up but not quite connected to each other.
