Pentax lenses are adaptable to Canon EF-S (the 1.6x bodies from the Rebel on) and 4/3rds (which has the shortest registratioon distance of all common systems) without surgery, Canon EF cameras require the removal or shortening of the aperture lever on Pentax lenses to mount them with an adaptor. Nikon has a longer register than Pentax mount, so you can't adapt Pentax lenses to Nikons.
